Bearfoot Travel Magazines Make Special Double-Sized Wooden Stands For Airport Use

The new car rental area opened at Anchorage International late last summer. We spent $2,000 constructing new, larger stands for our travel guides in the entire Anchorage Airport system. They hold twice as many publications as before.

To our surprise, even with these huge new stands, we’ve been running low and have had to increase the number of times we stock the airport. We’re particularly pleased with the heavy demand at the new car rental wing because the car rental location reaches independent travelers flying into Alaska -- a target market that we find often uses services provided by our advertisers.

And Anchorage RV rentals seem strong. “It’s going very well this summer, despite the high gas prices. We’ve had a lot of renters. We’re on par with last year,” says Blaine, the rental manager at ABC Motorhome Rentals in Anchorage.
